Changes in the music industry due to the Internet
Remember the last time you did go into a store and bought a CD? (me: two years ago in Hong Kong)
Remember the last time you downloaded music from the Internet? (me: last night…)
Remember the last time you borrow a CD from a friend? (me:…)
The music industry is no doubt changed so much by the Internet. Is it a good or bad? I can’t tell. Now, Youtube, Pandora, Last.fm, they give us access to music that was impossible in the past. In the old days, you had to walk into a store and buy a CD. You knew a new singer from your friends, newspaper, etc; there was a less likely chance you would know a singer on the other side of the planet and bought a CD because you liked that singer. It all worked fine until the Internet came into play. Let not talking about illegal download, just youtube and Pandora, services like those “killed” the music industry.
For example back then, you liked and wanted a song, you had to buy the CD. Now, you download it from itune. Instead of paying $10+ for the whole CD and every songs in it, you pay only for that one song. The music industry companies just lost $9+ from you. Imagine that’s what happen to many many people. With Internet sharing technology improved, people don’t even have to pay for songs and music. The rule of the game is changed, the music industry has to find new way to survive.

A wireless router is just like a normal router; however, it also can send out wireless signal. It allows your computers and other devices to connect to it in order connect to the internet through wired and/or wireless connection.
